Anatase is a metastable mineral form of titanium dioxide (TiO2) with a tetragonal crystal structure. Although colorless or white when pure, anatase in nature is usually a black solid due to impurities. Three other polymorphs (or mineral forms) of titanium dioxide are known to occur naturally: brookite, akaogiite, and rutile, with rutile being the most common and most stable of the bunch. Anatase is formed at relatively low temperatures and found in minor concentrations in igneous and metamorphic rocks.Thin films of TiO2-coated glass show antifogging and self-cleaning properties under ultraviolet radiation.

NH4Cl is an inorganic compound with the chemical name Ammonium Chloride. It is also known as sal ammoniac, the salt of ammonia and hydrogen chloride.Ammonium chloride is a by-product of sodium carbonate. Ammonium chloride has diuretic and expectorant effects. In its pure form, it is crystalline salt, white. This compound is highly water-soluble and mildly acidic. Ammonium chloride is used in veterinary medicine for the prevention of urinary stones in sheep, goats, and cattle. When ammonium sulfate and NaCl solutions react, NH4Cl is produced. When a 5% solution of ammonium chloride (by weight) is mixed with water, the resulting solution has a pH value ranging from 4.6 to 6.0.

Titanium dioxide, also known as titanium(IV) oxide or titania is the inorganic compound with the chemical formula TiO2. When used as a pigment, it is called titanium white, Pigment White 6 (PW6).It is a white solid that is insoluble in water, although mineral forms can appear black. As a pigment, it has a wide range of applications, including paint, sunscreen, and food coloring.

Monosodium glutamate (MSG), also known as sodium glutamate, is the sodium salt of glutamic acid. MSG is found naturally in some foods including tomatoes and cheese in this glutamic acid form.MSG is used in cooking as a flavor enhancer with an umami taste that intensifies the meaty, savory flavor of food, as naturally occurring glutamate does in foods such as stews and meat soups.

It is also called Carbonate of potash, or Potassium carbonate or Pearl ash. It is a dipotassium salt of carbonic acid. It is widely used in the production of glass and soap.Pearl ash is hygroscopic, deliquescent powder white. It is odorless and tastes alkaline. It is readily soluble in water but insoluble in ethanol, acetone, and alcohol. It has a pH of 11.6. It is a primary component of potash.

Maleic anhydride is an organic compound with the formula C2H2(CO)2O. It is the acid anhydride of maleic acid. It is a colorless or white solid with an acrid odor. It is produced industrially on a large scale for applications in coatings and polymers. Maleic anhydride is used in the production of unsaturated polyester resin as well as in the manufacture of coatings, pharmaceutics, agricultural products, surfactants, and as an additive of plastics.
